Two of my fabulous male submissive friends are exploring new relationships. Yay!!
Why am I posting about this?
Because it makes me happy, because they are wonderful, smart, interesting, sweet, amazing men, because both of them have been single for a while, and because it gives me hope.
Mostly, people are not single because they are undesirable hideous trolls living under bridges, compulsively twitching and muttering obscenities at passers-by.
Mostly, people are single because it’s *hard* to find someone who fits, someone who makes your heart sing, someone who makes you skip into each day looking forward to spending more time with them.
Happiness is happy-making, and even though it is early days for both of them, I am quietly doing a little dance of finger-crossed joy for each of them.
So, I wanted to share, and it can’t hurt to send positive thoughts into the ether for happy endings. I do so love happy endings!
Are you saying I should try to curb my twitching and muttering obscenities? Because those are some of my go to moves.
Save it for the second date, Peroxide. Bringing out all your best moves on the first date seems a waste.
This is a GOOD thing and I wish both of the guys all the best in their quest for happiness and look forward to reading those happy femdom stories that I just know they will undoubtedly post.
*smile* It IS a good thing!!!
I’m totally hoping for happy femdom stories out of this also! Because, you know, it’s all about me…
This is a beautiful and life affirming post! Reading it really brightened up my day! Thank you for that! :)
I’m so glad it brightened your day. Mine too!
Most definitely worthy of a post. Why I loved all the happy Femdom stories you posted.
I think so too… happiness is contagious, like the plague. Only without the open sores and pus.
And probably not spread by rats…
*pokes you with a finger* And where is YOUR happy ending young lady hmmmm ? *taps foot* Well out with it
I’m working on it. I don’t know why the universe won’t co-operate with me! I always have nice things to say about *it*, even behind its back!
Stupid Universe * goes round it’s house and busts it’s windows*
While I don’t live under a bridge, I *DO* live under the stairs.
*laugh* All you have to work on now is:
– the delusion that stairs = bridge
– being an undesirable, hideous troll
– compulsive twitching
– muttering obscenities at passers-by
Then suddenly being single will be completely understandable.
Me, I’m working on getting twenty cats. Also, I am no longer bathing.
This is why I really love to read your blog, Ferns — you’ve got an awesomely positive perspective that always refreshes and recharges me! Thanks for that!
Oh, that’s lovely! I’m delighted to be contributing to your refreshing and recharging.
I am very happy for your friends and wish them the best. “Happiness is happy-making.” love that phrase. Finding the right person really is hard, as I am discovering on beginning to date again after 30 yrs. Telling the truth about my desires has driven off a couple of people, but one longtime friend is fascinated. She has a lovely and curious mind, and has become my “practice” domme. I cook for her, give foot and back rubs and generally try to please her in all ways. We are currently playing an orgasm control card game and she is very encouraging and discerning about meeting potential partners.
Ferns, I have been following your blog for a few years, and am always grateful for your willingness to share your life experience and your surgical wit. Thanks.
” one longtime friend is fascinated. She has a lovely and curious mind, and has become my “practice” domme.”
*smile* That sounds like a wonderful arrangement. I’m glad you have her (and she has you!) while you search for a long term partner.
“I have been following your blog for a few years, and am always grateful for your willingness to share your life experience and your surgical wit. Thanks.”
Thank YOU for reading all this time and for the very kind words. I’m delighted that you are still here.
“someone who makes your heart sing”
simply the best definition of love I ever read!
Thank you for the comment way back here!
I kind of love that phrase also *smile*
