He’s beautiful

“Do you believe me when I tell you you’re beautiful?”

He pauses. Shrugs. Is uncomfortable. “I believe that you mean it when you say it…” he says finally.

I nod. I mean it. Of course. I don’t say things I don’t mean.

I don’t think anyone has ever told him that he’s beautiful before. It’s not how most women relate to men. He doesn’t quite know what to do with it, isn’t comfortable with it.

I will keep saying it because it gives me pleasure to tell him, because I want him to know how I see him, because I want him to believe it.

Also because he’s beautiful.

  2. It makes my pup uncomfortable when I tell him he’s sexy( think he is) it is hard for him to see what I see. I will also continue to tell him.
And yes Ferns he is beautiful..yum

    1. I think there is something special that happens when a boy finally accepts what you see as truth if he’s never really believed it before.

When he realises his beauty and power, it’s like watching a switch go on: I adore it.

  3. If no one has told that man he is beautiful the women in Texas must be friggin’ blind.

Absolutely he has a beautiful body, but from your writings of him, Ferns, he has a beautiful soul as well….that is so important.

    1. I think the issue is less in the seeing and more in the telling because most people (women included) view women as the objects of desire, not men, so telling a man he’s beautiful isn’t something most women do.

Of course, maybe those Texan women really ARE all blind!! *runs off to Google*

And I’m not sure about his soul just yet, but I do think he’s lovely *smile*.
