Love Our Lurkers day!

October 21st was International Fisting Day. Not really my thing, so I couldn’t get all excited about it.
However, today is Love Our Lurkers (LOL) day for bloggers. Now THAT’S something I can get behind!
It was started by Bonnie who said this:
On Thursday, November 10, many spanking, DD, and Ds bloggers will publish posts where they invite their readers to comment. Any reader, even first timers, are welcome to participate, but the people we really hope to hear from are our beloved lurkers. A lurker is a regular reader who doesn’t comment or otherwise let their presence be known. As most bloggers know, lurkers represent the majority of our readership.
Apparently some blogs will be offering prizes (?!), but I am, of course, much more rubbisher than them, also cheap and disorganised.
Be that as it may, I would love to hear from you, quiet readers who don’t comment. I know you are out there… just a little ‘hello’ wave would be lovely. I will slide over on the bench here and you can come and sit beside me *pat pat*.

I am a die hard lurker. I just began writing My own bloggity-blawg recently due to your insanely inspirational jottings. I've laughed, I've cried…
I do however understand the importance of feedback from readers, now that I have My own scrawlings to pimp to the masses.

I haven't either, and I never say never, but I'm not so much a 'more and bigger!' sort. I've read some amazing accounts of fisting, so I can understand the appeal of it, but it hasn't yet done that thing where it squirrels into my head and keeps tugging away at me.

*nod nod* I love knowing that there are readers (duh!), but I do love love love (three times!) hearing what people are thinking and having a little chat with them. The dialogue is wonderful for me.
But being a serial lurker myself, I completely understand just reading quietly and not actually having anything to *say* about it even if I really enjoyed it.
I did have a reader send me a note once saying that 'nice porn!' was not a comment he felt comfortable leaving on a post… heh. Fair call.

I don't claim to be an expert, but I'm pretty sure fisting usually involves squirreling into… well, not your head, that's for sure. If you're having trouble figuring it out, I'm sure there are no shortage of would be volunteers willing to give you a hand. (or willing for to you to give a hand to?)

I lurk about once a month. Does that count? I save up your posts and come in and read them all at once. It's like saving chocolate until you really need it instead of eating it each day. Then it's that much more special and gives you a bit of a high. That is also why I am posting this kinda late. See you next month.
