Where I have been

I recently completed a ‘trip map’, where you identify all the cities you have been to and they get pinned on a map.

108 cities in 38 countries.

I need to get out more.

Ha! You'd think so, wouldn't you? But no, I am rubbish!

It is, yes. I tried to make it bigger, but the map itself is tiny, so the resolution is really low.

  3. YAY!
You've been kinda sorta near me on the US east coast 3 times.
I need to get you here again for your spanking! Um, I mean your huge Welcome to the USA party, Ms Ferns!

Actually more… I've been to some of those cities a few times! Why weren't you there to carry my bags?

“I need to get you here again for your spanking!”

*wiggles her arse* In your dreams, boy!

“Um, I mean your huge Welcome to the USA party, Ms Ferns!”

Ahh hmmm… somehow I suspect you are not to be trusted!

  5. You make me feel like a hermit! I love to travel. If you could go anywhere you haven't been yet, where would that be? Where's next on Ferns' agenda of conquering the world?

Ooohh… there's a huge white space there in South America! I'd love to spend some time travelling around the top end… Maybe start in Brazil and make my way around to Peru.

I do think, though, that I have 'settled down' somewhat, and what I tend to do more of now is to go somewhere, create a little nest, and explore a small area for a few weeks, as if I lived there.

That's the best way to do it! Power tours and speed vacations are such a waste, you miss all the best things… you know, that stuff you won't find in the guide book.

My beast spent some time in South Africa. By far his favorite trip ever… i'll have to make him take me sometime.

Yes! Though I have to say that I am a rubbish tourist and am disgustingly disinterested in the tourist things. I normally just aimlessly wander the streets and see what I find.

You so should! When I first went to Africa (a 7 week trip, and not South Africa), it was the first time in my travels that pretty much *everything* was mind boggling… the culture, the landscape, the wildlife, the poverty, the violence, the smells, the hunger, the generosity, the beauty… pretty much everything made me go 'wow!'. Amazing, disturbing, fascinating.

I would most helpfully and selflessly suggest a trip to… um… who cares, where you do some nude photos that you then put out into the world… *waggles eyebrows*

  10. I apologize, Mistress Ferns, for my lateness in answering your question!

As to where I was, and why I was not holding your bags, well, see I got lost and went to the wrong airport the first time. Then when you came again, I went to the airport I should have gone to the first time, but, silly me, you came in at the other airport. The last time you arrived, I was abducted by someone who only said they were sent by a “dd”. I have no idea who this dd IS, and Oh, Mistress Ferns, I am SOOOOO lucky to have escaped from there! Anyway, I promise to do better next time Mistress!

Have I? Why didn't you say hello?

    Welcome back, little lamb.

        Best.

  13. I’d prefer my identity not be published at all: Simply anonymous!
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your list of travel. By far exceeds my own. It appears you spent a lot of time in France, Portugal, and Spain. (I may be wrong, it is just that the dots on your map
suggest this might be true.) I’m not particularly a poor navigator, but…
Fact of the matter, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your website! What a refreshing encounter!
    I wish you the best.

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed the travel summary, and my website :).

I have indeed been to France, Portugal, and Spain, though I’ve not spent a lot of time in any of them (that’s a vague measure, but I’d say ‘a lot’ has to be measured in months, surely): I wish!
