I fucking miss you

I spoke of vulnerability before… here it is:

I posted my secret here (yes, it’s old, you know, of course, that I will not reveal the difficult things until they are behind me…!).

  1. Hey, also I thought your vulnerable post was the casual sex one. So in the light of this:

    1) Is the casual sex post just your standard what-happened-to-me post?
    2) Did it happen on census night and if so did that make things awkward later on?

  2. Anonymous: “Hey, also I thought your vulnerable post was the casual sex one.”

No, there was no vulnerability in that one (and I confess, I had no idea which post you were referring to at first when you said 'casual sex'!).

And if I answered who/what/when/where questions about all of my posts, where would the mystery be? *mysterious eyebrow waggle*

Though I will share that I don't do casual sex.

  3. I saw this when it was posted on Submissive Secrets and it made my heart hurt a little. I didn't realise it was you.

Thank you for sharing this. I know first hand how scary admitting to this can be; I went through a mixture of horror and relief when I admitted how badly I missed my ex on my own blog. And yes, I did offer him everything again.

Regardless of what you choose to do and how it pans out, definitely a brave step, and hopefully one that benefits you.

Me too! When I see it, it sounds like someone else.

“I went through a mixture of horror and relief when I admitted how badly I missed my ex on my own blog.”

*smile* “horror and relief” sounds pretty reasonable. I am not sure yet how I feel about posting it, a bottle of wine will do that to you, you know!

“And yes, I did offer him everything again.”

I don't remember seeing it on your blog, but I do hope it has worked out or at least resolved it for you. Either, it seems to me, is a good outcome.

“Regardless of what you choose to do and how it pans out, definitely a brave step, and hopefully one that benefits you.”

Thank you. I think that putting it out there, taking the risk, is of benefit. I will probably do a follow up post to this one.

  5. Not all of the secrets I read on Submissive Secrets really touch me. Both of yours wrap right around my stomach and my heart.

    Thank you for sharing.

  6. You are a strong passionate woman. Missing it equally badly seems simply the 'other side of the same coin', not weak or pathetic. And offering it again is/was the smart path to resolution. Either he says yes (yay!) or no (and you can be ready to move on with less doubt.)

Thanks for sharing this side of you… it shows your heart and I'd expect that most will see you now as an even more powerful Domme. For a Domme who can love that deeply, a man might really do just about anything. (And what a wonderful counter image to the average internet portrayal of Domme-liness.)

nb. the above was NOT posted just because we had to. :)
“True, and if I post the vulnerable-making stuff, it will be way out of my comfort zone, and everyone had better be fucking nice about it!!”

*smile* Thank you TJ, I'm glad they resonated with you.

  8. Ferns – just a quick follow up as you wondered how it turned out. It did work out – he's back in my life (this is Mr L). Even if he had said no though, I wouldn't have regretted putting it out there. I'd have beat myself up otherwise.

I look forward to the followup post.

  9. DC: “You are a strong passionate woman… [lovelies]…”

Thank you for the sweetness, the 'fucking nice' directive was well and truly met *smile*

“Either he says yes (yay!) or no (and you can be ready to move on with less doubt.)”

    Yes, resolution/closure/something- pop-psychology-like is a good thing!

Yay!! I'm happy to hear it! Thank you for that! I am all smiley faced now!

“Even if he had said no though, I wouldn't have regretted putting it out there. I'd have beat myself up otherwise.”

Exactly this. Regrets will eat you alive from the inside!

  11. I am so glad to hear it worked out for You. The two of Y/you always seemed the perfect couple, the meshing of Ying and yang at it's best.

I have read from afar and taken note of Your words for a long time. (Your an awesome writer, and your boy seems just the sweetest ….does he have a brother *winks* )

  12. Anonymous: “I am so glad to hear it worked out for You.”

*warm smile* Thank you for the gladness, though, well, I haven't said that it worked out… you will have to wait for the follow up…

“Your an awesome writer, and your boy seems just the sweetest ….does he have a brother *winks* “

Thank you for the lovely compliment… and unfortunately, no, there are no brothers, more's the pity…

  13. Does it still count as being supportive if I wish you luck because I'm hoping for new sexy play stories?

I do sincerely hope that things go well, repairing busted relationships isn't something I'm good at… Commiserating about loneliness however, I'm a pro.

  14. Peroxide: “Does it still count as being supportive if I wish you luck because I'm hoping for new sexy play stories?”

Well, look, the only reason I want a relationship at all is so that I have material for the blog… So yes, that counts.

“I do sincerely hope that things go well, repairing busted relationships isn't something I'm good at… Commiserating about loneliness however, I'm a pro.”

    I'll keep that in mind…
